With the impending release of World of Warcraft's upcoming expansion, Warlords of Draenor, it is not just the shattered Orc homeworld that is undergoing a massive overhaul. All of the character models in game are getting tweaks and adjustments, a tuck there, an excision there and voila, a new you.
Warcraft Film Trailer Description From Comic Con
Blizzard, this has to stop. All Tauren women are beautiful! All Undead males, too. We will not sit idly by and let you dictate the terms of what is and is not beauty. Blizzard senior art director Chris Robinson, who is definitely not the lead singer of the Black Crowes, give us all the excuses you want, all I hear is unreachable societal standards.
"The original female Tauren had a lot of issues with too-angular geometry and stretched-out textures. It's not her fault-it's just what we had available to us at the time. Our new process has allowed us to add a lot of detail to her hair, fur, horns, and hooves, to build a far more detailed and expressive face, and to add a lot of definition to her musculature (while retaining her shape and silhouette)." said Robinson in an Artcraft post.

He then added, "One other change of note: Warcraft character design is commonly known for its stylized long arms, large hands, and big feet, but the female Tauren's hands were just completely out of control. We brought them down to a more consistent size with the other updated models, and were also able to add a ton more detail and dexterity in the process."
Who are you, Robinson? Are you God? Do you create the noble Tauren and all of her features? Are we not all beautiful in our own way? I did not think so!
And what of the Undead male? What? Was he not skinny enough for you or something? Should he somehow eat even less? Where does it end, sir?
"Our artists worked themselves to the bone to recapture the creepy feel of the classic model and bring new (un) life to this scion of the Forsaken. We hope you enjoy it!" Robinson stated in another post.
We do not enjoy it, Mr. Robinson. We do not enjoy it at all.
Thus far, Blizzard has updated the Orc, Undead, Tauren, Dwarf and Troll for the expansion. Of course, all of the not pretty races are getting "upgrades". Warlords of Draenor is expected to launch some time this fall. #RealWoWBeauty
