Warp To Puzzle Its Way Onto Xbox LIVE This February (Video)

Orange, cute, and deadly are joining forces for next month's debut of Warp, indie developer Trapdoor's new stealth-action puzzler. Scheduled for a February 15, 2012 release, the title will kick off Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party series.

If you're new to Warp, the official trailer goes a long way toward explaining the gameplay. The puzzler puts you in the shoes of a very loveable - yet lethal - alien named Zero, whose primary goal is to escape a super-secret research facility. The twist in the game is in the optional "secondary goal," which involves you taking bloody, explosive revenge on the facility's lab coat-wearing workers.

Now, you don't have to be cruel. You can play Warp as a stealth game and go for a no-kills win. Or, you can relish Zero's ability to detonate scientists from the inside out and paint the labs with gore. With endless combinations of abilities and upgrades, how you play is entirely up to you.

While Warp is debuting for the Xbox 360 this February, it's not a Microsoft Exclusive. PlayStation 3 and PC releases are both scheduled for March 13, 2012, and you can pre-order Warp on Origin for just $9.99.
