CDProjekt Red is making its first splash ever at SDCC, and they're bringing demos for all to try out at the Geek 'n Sundry Consumer Lounge.
The Witcher Adventure Game Closed Beta Launches
You'll get to see The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt! I don't even know what else I have to say here to make you super excited! I mean, I'm not going to SDCC, but maybe you are or you know somebody? Get thee to a witchery, if so!
"Since this is the first Comic-Con for Geralt of Rivia, we're going the extra mile to talk to as many Witcher fans as possible, at as many places as possible--we have a really mighty line up", said RafaÅ Jaki, Witcher franchise director, CD PROJEKT RED. "It's a real pleasure to see The Witcher among all those comic book and movie characters we know and love," Jaki added.
World of the Witcher Hardcover Book Announced, Beautiful Unreleased Art Within
Pretty nuts, really, isn't it? The Witcher is such a staple in the AAA gaming world and they've never been to SDCC! Well, here's what they've all got planned for you lucky drowners:
Thursday July 24 from 10-11am in Room 6A, you can meet Doug Cockle (voice of Geralt), Paul Tobin (writer of upcoming Witcher comic House of Glass) and Jaki himself. Later that day (2:30-3:30pm), in the Geek 'n Sundry Consumer Lounge at Jolt'n Joe's Gaslap, 379 4th Avenue, there's a Witcher trivia game.
Friday July 25, Dark Horse Comics is hosting a panel on the amazing art of The Witcher, with Jaki once more in attendance. Buncha stuff at Jolt'n Joe's that day as well: a sneak peek at the tabletop Witcher Adventure Game from 10-11am and the long-awaited LIVE DEMO OF WILD HUNT right after until noon.
Every attendee will get a limited edition Witcher postcard by Simon Bisley. Truly in the giving spirit of CD PROJEKT RED. Ohhh I am so biased and I don't care who knows it! Eviscerate me in the comments!
