Telltale Games is a company that refuses to rest on its laurels. The interactive story developer just released its monumental finale to The Wolf Among Us, its Fables-inspired tale and no sooner have you just barely beaten that title that they go ahead and show off some of the stuff you can expect in the upcoming The Walking Dead Season 2, Episode 4.
Heavenly Sword Film Adaptation Coming In September
The episode is titled Amid The Ruins and is due out this month. The episode picks up in the aftermath of the previous, as the survivors of a massive walker attack at Carver's sick and twisted compound make their refuge at a Civil War museum.
The screenshots show Clem, the season's main protagonist (she was the companion in Season 1) surrounded by walkers, a very deadly looking axe in her hand. The other has Clem and several other survivors ready to unleash hell on a group of the undead.
Xbox One Introduces Trial Versions It Should Have Had In The First Place
Only two "seasons" in and the Telltale series has, in my opinion, surpassed both the television show and the original graphic novel series. Now, being better than the show in terms of storytelling is not that difficult; but the comic has its moments, as grim and unforgiving as they are. It's a more enjoyable experience and the rich, nuanced characters are far more engaging than say the Snidely Whiplash governor of the comics, or the 'why is this guy such a dick?' governor of the show.
The Walking Dead: Season 2 will be hitting all platforms, PC, Xbox, PlayStation and mobile devices this month.
