In a recent tweet, the former Gears of War and Jazz Jackrabbit honcho Cliff Bleszinski announced his new studio Boss Key Productions' first project, a collaboration with Nexon.
Cliff Bleszinski Opens New Studio
Although Bleszinski has been highly skeptical in the past about how viable PC developing would remain in the near future, he's returned to that selfsame area officially now with the announcement of free-to-play shooter BlueStreak. Information is scant right now, but Bleszinski described BlueStreak as a "sci-fi PC arena shooter". Perhaps he stands by his former words denouncing PC development and this will actually be a highly politically correct console shooter. Who knows!
Anyways, despite Bleszinski currently being the only known Boss Key employee, the company is hiring, so you could be at the ground floor of the next Unreal Tournament. I mean, it could happen, right? Co-developer Nexon is a shareholder at Boss Key as well, and will be publishing, marketing and managing BlueStreak (which is a code name, by the way).

What kind of innovations do you think Cliff Bleszinski has up his sleeve, if he's coming back to PC developing after his harsh words not so long ago? Will they go for a lighter, comedic approach a la Team Fortress 2, or a darker, unintentionally comedic approach a la the saga of Marcus Fenix?
We'll be keeping you up to speed when we hear the sounds of chainsaws being clicked onto shotguns like in Gears Of War and... another upcoming game whose name I can't quite remember...
