Bungie has announced the launch dates for the Destiny beta on both PlayStation and Xbox systems, along with a new trailer.
Early Access Indie Title The Forest Gets A New Update With Peaceful Mode
The beta will be available on PS4 and PS3 July 17, while Microsoft's systems will gain access on July 23. We knew that PlayStation consoles would be getting the beta before Xbox One and Xbox 360 as part of a limited exclusive deal (which also includes some content), but weren't sure exactly what the dates would be.
Bungie also revealed details for the Destiny Collector's Editions, of which there is three different configurations. The Destiny Ghost Edition ($149.99) and Destiny Limited Edition ($99.99) both include a SteelBook game case, a "Guardian Folio" with a star chart, post cards, and field guide, and some exclusive in-game content. They also include the Destiny Expansion Pass, which will give you access to two post-launch expansions.

The Ghost Edition has additional content including a Ghost replica, featuring motion-activated lights and voice recordings from Ghost's voice actor Peter Dinklage. You will also get a letter of introduction and "Golden Age Relics", which include a photo, patch, sticker and two chrome slides of the Traveler.
The third model, the Destiny Digital Guardian Edition ($89.99), includes a digital download copy of the game, the Destiny Expansion Pass and the Collector's Edition Digital Content Pack (the in-game content that comes with the other two editions). The Ghost Edition is available for pre-order now on Amazon, though the Xbox One version is not yet posted.
