The long-awaited PlayStation 4 feature that allows you to pre-load games you order before they're released is coming to the console soon, Sony has announced.

The news appeared on the PlayStation Blog, explaining how it will work and when it will be available. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark will be the first title to use the feature, and launches on June 24. If you pre-order a title with this feature, you can download it ahead of release so that it's ready to play on launch day.
Today's blog post reveals that all 10 of the new titles Sony announced at E3 for pre-order on the PlayStation Store will offer the new pre-load feature, in addition to a few others. There are some major releases among those games, including Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield: Hardline, so many people will likely be making use of the feature.

"We all know that some of the biggest games can take a while to download, and with the pre-load functionality, you'll be able to download and install those huge files up to several days in advance," the PlayStation Blog states.
"And don't worry if you forget: any titles you've pre-ordered will be automatically pre-loaded and auto-downloaded to your PS4 system by default. All you have to do is pre-order the game, make sure your PS4 remains in standby mode, and sit back and relax."
