Microsoft's 2014 time is behind us, and now it's publishing giant Electronic Arts' turn. In addition to new games for popular series like Dragon Age and The Sims, EA didn't leave its trademark sports games out in the cold, opening up things with a closer look at the brutal hits of EA Sports UFC.

The presentation opened with the same Bruce Lee intro from mid-May, but was interrupted with some great gameplay footage with Lee late in match against former Lightweight Undisputed Champion and future UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn.
The two trade blocks and jabs, but Penn gets the upper hand when he scoops up Lee and slams him down to the mat. From there, Penn is able to put Lee into a mounted triangle, but only very briefly. You'd think Bruce Lee would be all about striking, but as the footage below shows, his ground game isn't too shabby either, escaping Penn's hold. Once he's back on his feet again, Lee is able to use his trademark lightning quick speed to bounce off the cage and deliver a devastating kick right to Penn's cheek.

Dazed, Penn staggers about, and Lee nails him right in the chin with a heavy kick. Penn collapses, and the dragon leaves victorious. Check it all out below.
EA Sports UFC is set to hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, next week, June 17. It will be the first UFC game to feature female fighters with Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey, who appear alongside other titans of the sport like: Georges St-Pierre, Chuck Liddell, Frank Mir, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, and others, with more than 30 fighters in all when the game releases.
