Playground Games knows you win by an inch or a mile. Today at the Xbox E3 briefing, they showed off the latest, hi-def-est looking Forza games to date.
Forza Motor Sports 5 is already out on Xbox One, but today Ralph Fulton, Creative Director of Playground Games announced that the newest map, a digital copy of the world famous Nurburgring map in Germany is now available, today, for free.
In addition to new maps for the current game, Fulton also announced the release of Forza Horizon 2, the sequel to their open world carplaying game that revolutionized car play. Horizon 2 is fully 1080p compatible (though no word whether it's 60 or just 30 fps) and will have over 200 cars available for customization, such as the Lamborghini Hurricane. The game will also allow you and 999 of your closest friends to make their own "club", which I hope is a Fast & Furious criminal heist gang.

The Forza games have always looked absolutely stunning and Horizon 2 is no different. My god, I don't even own a car and I found myself getting a little hot around the collar just watching those metallic beauties fly through the air. There will be dynamic day/night time cycles as well as weather effects, sure to mess up your leisurely Sunday drive.
Horizon 2 will feature seamless multiplayer integration, promising no lobbies or waiting. Just drop in, drop out. Fulton promises that these games will be "the road trip of your life". Well, the last road trip I went was a cross country adventure in a goddamn Kia, so you have a huge wall to climb there, Forza.
Forza Horizon 2 hits Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Sept 30 this year. Check out the E3 trailer below!
