EA NHL 15 Gameplay Trailer Released, Graphics And Hitting Engine Look Fantastic

Just ahead of Microsoft's E3 press conference, EA Sports has released the first gameplay footage of NHL 15.

The game will run on both current and last generation consoles, and we're presumably seeing the PS4 and Xbox One version on display in this trailer. It looks incredible, a definite upgrade over the previous versions, with the players looking much more realistic and less like clay dummies.

The jerseys shift and move rather than remain stuck to the player models, and the overall motion of the game looks much improved. Players deke and skate with greater control, and the physics (especially the hits) seem much improved. Everything looks softer, and better, which is good to see considering the title will be split across two console generations.

Enjoy the trailer below, and keep an eye out for the debut of other EA Sports titles today.
