2K Games and Gearbox Software have today announced a release date for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, through a reveal trailer which showcases all the insane things they'll be offering. Low gravity battles, face lasers, jovial fear pooping?
Borderlands 2 For PS Vita Fills Entire Memory Card?
You'll be able to find out for yourself on October 7, when it hits Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. New series developers 2K Australia have been trying to make sure they've got enough to offer what's a brand new experience to the game. Sure, it's not Borderlands 3, but it will offer enough new content to be much more than a side story.
As you might have guessed from the title, the Pre-Sequel will take place between the events of Borderlands and Borderlands 2 and feature the rise of the second's villain Handsome Jack. Four new playable Vault Hunters are featured in the game, including Borderlands 2 boss Wilhelm, Nisha (the Sheriff of Lynchwood), Athena from the original Borderlands' Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC, and Claptrap. That's right- you can play everyone's favorite loudmouth robot and shoot up some scum.
Everything We Know About Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel's Characters
Seeing as how you're going to Pandora's moon you'll have low gravity to contend with, new vehicles, and of course, lots and lots of guns. 2K got the guys and gals over at Harmonix to make the Moon Dance trailer that's seen below- watch it and love it.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be presented at E3 and we will have hands-on with the game, as well as a look at Telltale's upcoming Tales From the Borderlands, so expect much more Borderlands soon!
