Prepare for more ridiculousness: the free Goat Simulator update is coming. Coffee Stain Studios announced Patch 1.1 last month, and have now let us now it will be arriving on June 3.

While they probably could have charged a small amount for this update, the developers have chosen to release it for no cost.
It will add a new map to the intentionally-broken physics sim in which you wreak havoc as a goat and other animals, as well as a new local multiplayer mode. Here's a list of the updates you can expect once the patch goes live:
Halo 5: Guardians Will Be An Xbox One Exclusive, Not Coming to Xbox 360
- A whole new playable map, roughly the size of the old map
- Local splitscreen multiplayer, up to four goats can play on one machine at the same time!
- Goat wall-running and balancing on your front legs
- You will be able to ride bicycles and skateboards, and force humans to ride you.
- New playable goats, including Tornado Goat, Shopping Goat, Classy Goat, Repulsive Goat, and more!
- Optimization, achievements, and all kinds of other cool jazz.
Coffee Stain also explained their decision to delay the update until June, noting that the team originally said Patch 1.1 would be out this month.
"We realise we said we'd release the patch in May," stated the game's designer Armin Ibrisagic, "but we really wanted to shock players and make sure the new map will be even better than the old one, so we had to push forth the release date a week or so than we originally intended. With June 3rd as a release date, the new map is gonna be so awesome, and I'm not just saying that cause I'm working on the game."
You've heard it straight from the developer's mouth: the new content will be a lot of fun when it drops in two weeks. Goat Simulator is for sale on Steam now.
