A patch is coming to Uncharted 3 from developer Naughty Dog ahead of their "8-bit Salute" Operation Supply Drop charity event, which benefits American troops overseas.

The patch makes some minor changes to select multiplayer map listings, and will also reset the leaderboards. Doing this will upset segments of the fanbase, the developers realize, but they want to give everyone a clean slate for participation in the 8-bit Salute charity event.
Patch 1.19 is also the last for Uncharted 3, though Community Manager Eric Monacelli promises they will keep supporting the title "in other ways". He described the changes for the coming update on the PlayStation Blog:
Uncharted Creative Director Joins EA To Work On Star Wars Game
"We know a leaderboard reset can be contentious but we wanted to give everyone a fresh start for our upcoming participation in Operation Supply Drop's 8-Bit Salute event. To celebrate, all Golden Guns will now be free and available to all players.
"With Patch 1.19 we are winding down patch support for Uncharted 3 but we will continue to provide updates on any sales, community events, and other activities such as the upcoming "In Honor" Uncharted 3 tournament UMG is holding to mark our connection with 8-Bit Salute."
The team at Naughty Dog will be live streaming its involvement with the 8-bit Salute event on Saturday. You can learn more about Operation Supply Drop in the video below, which is a very good cause that sends video games and consoles overseas to boost the morale of troops and raise mental health. Naughty Dog will steam the event on its Twitch channel from noon to midnight (PST) on May 17.
