One thing that many gamers found frustrating about Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, the new iOS and Android free-to-play game, was that the most popular character was nowhere to be seen. Stewie Griffin is one of the last characters you will unlock in the game but no matter how much premium currency you spend there's no way to get him- but he's almost here, thanks to the Asiantown udpate.
Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff Review- The Best F2P Game Yet?
The update is sure to be offensive to some gamers but then again, if you've gotten that far in the game you'll have seen some far worse things. It's not like the series has ever shied away from controversy. This update will include allow two new characters to be unlocked from the start- Tricia in "PF Chinese" and Connie in "We Heal You Long TIme".
As you can see from the below screen, Brian Griffin seems to think that unlocking Asiantown will bring us closer to Stewie, although he's not immediately unlockable. Could he be in Asiantown somewhere, or is he in a future update down the line? It might be the latter. He will come as part of a Bob's Funhouse building that you can buy, but it's currently locked when you start the update, along with Carter (Stewie's grandfather), and Mayor West.

The game has even made jokes about Stewie not being in it yet while some of the much more obscure characters are. Asiantown does come with plenty of new content, however. Along with plenty of new quests and characters, there's lots to spend your money on.
New buildings include-
- Dansu Dansu - $7,500
- Awful Person Hattery - $5,000
- Video Arcade - $10,000
New decorations include-
Asiantown Street Lantern - $250
Asiantown Front Gate - $500
Rickshaw - $1,000
Solid Gold Emerald - 5 Golden Clams
Hey Cat Statue - $1,000
Koi Pond - $2,000
As always decorations do nothing but pretty up your town. None of these are animated.
There are also two new outfits to unlock- Anime Peter and Midlife Crisis Louis.
This is the first major update but expect many more in the future! They've also been holding weekend sales, so make sure to keep playing to check things out. If you haven't play the game yet and are a fan of Family Guy, what are you waiting for? It's free and out for iOS and Android.
