Back in December, pants around the world collectively pooped when Nintendo revealed Hyrule Warriors, the product of a team-up with Dynasty Warriors developer Tecmo Koei, which saw longtime Legend of Zelda protagonist Link spinning, flipping, and slashing like some fairy ninja with a Red Bull addiction. Then...nothing. Nintendo and Tecmo both went quiet. Now, with E3 around the corner, the rumor mill is swirling, alleging that Hyrule Warriors will see the light of day this Fall.
Nintendo Direct Reveals a Dynasty Warriors Styled Legend of Zelda Game, In Hyrule Warriors
That's what's alleged by ZeldaInformer, which claims to have confirmed the supposed release date with three different sources, "one of them reportedly a former staff member at Nintendo Treehouse."
If turning a Nintendo classic into an arcade styled hack n' slasher, keep reading, because the rumors don't stop with Hyrule Warriors. The sources also claim that the next game in the series, known only as Zelda U, is planned to release in Spring of 2015. To date, nothing's known about the project, though there have been plenty of rumors.

In January of last year, the same site also reported some substantially more hard to swallow "info" from an unknown tipster, including:
- featuring a different art style than the HD tech demo, closer to Skyward Sword
- likely inclusion of motion controls over the GamePad
- a further fleshed out romance between Link and Zelda
There was even rumors Nintendo was considering hiring a voice actor for Link, a first for the longtime silent character (the CD-i games don't count).
Nintendo's announced plans for E3 consists of broadcasting demos of upcoming games from its booth, but no titles have been mentioned specifically, save for Super Smash Bros.
