Fans will be very happy to hear that the title will offer cross-platform save transferring from the original Diablo 3 console release, allowing you to move your save file from PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One.
Anyone who didn't wait for the next-gen version (or the Ultimate Evil Edition) will be rewarded with this feature, able to continue their characters in the new title and on another console.

Blizzard is also offering the last-gen version of the Ultimate Evil Edition for less than what it will cost on Xbox One and PS4. You can get the game on Xbox 360 and PS3 for $39.99, while it will run you the full $59.99 on the new hardware.
All versions of Evil Ultimate Edition offer four player local co-op, as well as online multiplayer. It also includes an Apprentice Mode, which anyone who has played a multiplayer RPG will appreciate.
With this setting, a low-level character is given attribute and ability boosts when playing with higher-level companions, letting you contribute when you use a new character with friends. Feeling useless as you follow around players who are way more powerful than you can be pretty boring, as they wipe everything out before you even get a chance to contribute.
This mode will change that when the title launches this summer, and if you pre-order now, you can receive in-game Infernal Pauldrons.
