If you're waiting on more content for Company of Heroes 2, today's your day. Sega finally provided a release date for the standalone multiplayer addition for Relic's RTS, and it couldn't come at a better time. No more worries the Battle of Berlin ironically interrupting your history homework, as Western Front Armies drops well after school's out on June 24.
Company of Heroes 2 Gets Theater Of War Mode
The Western Front Armies brings players back to... where else? The Western Front, obviously, where things are far from quiet, thanks to two new factions: the US Forces and the German Oberkommando West.
Each army has distinctive tactical gameplay options, new infantry, team weapons, vehicles, abilities, and upgrades on a total of eight seasonal multiplayer maps set on the Western Front. It also includes an extended progression system that introduces other unique content into the game, allowing for more tactical and strategic aspects.

In addition to both the US Forces and Oberkommando West factions, pre-order customers also get two new vehicle skins (1 per faction, applicable to all weight classes), and two faceplates.
When Armies releases, it'll cost $19.99. Players also have the option of getting the armies as an individual purchase for $12.99. Interested? Head to the game's Steam page to place your order, and check out the trailer below.
