It's possible that no movie is more highly anticipated than the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII, as fans are curious if J.J. Abrams will repeat the mistakes of the prequel trilogy. We learned who the official cast will be last week, and now some leaked info may give us the subtitle of the film as well.

Harry Knowles of Ain't it Cool News claims to have confirmed that the title of Star Wars Episode VII will be The Ancient Fear. It's information he has had for a while, he says in a post, but was recently confirmed by another source. This informant proved correct about the movie's filming location, so he feels confident in using the person as a source for the title.
"Hey folks, Harry here," he wrote. "In response to my article earlier today a new source has come forward to confirm information that I've been sitting on for over a month. As I've said--getting confirmation has been a bitch. I know lots of people in JJ's camp--including JJ...but when I put the title to JJ...he never even responded. That alone was suspicious.
Star Wars Episode VII Filming and Plot Details Revealed
"But my original source had told me back in January that Abu Dhabi was a location, and when that came to be, he sent me a scoop that the title for Star Wars Episode VII was The Ancient Fear."
As always, take any unconfirmed rumors with a grain of salt. I'm not sure to what degree we can trust this information to be accurate, but it's one of the first title rumors we've seen and the source has supposedly been correct before. I'm wary of anyone claiming to "know people" in the business, but if this is the area Knowles covers, he may well have contacts.
This is a working title for now according to the source, so it's subject to change. Keep The Ancient Fear in mind going forward--perhaps we'll hear an official announcement in the future that it is the real title.
