The Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS details will keep coming from Nintendo ahead of the staggered release of both versions and today is no exception. The title will be out this summer on 3DS and most likely this winter on Wii U, though it seems like we'll have to wait until this June's E3 for a specific date.

The last major character details came from a Nintendo Direct video, and it's unlikely we'll see anything that significant again before E3. What we will keep getting are daily updates from Nintendo via the game's official site, which usually consist of a new picture alongside a description.
You can find the recap of last week's updates here, which covers a new mechanic, items, and assist trophies. To kick of a new week of reveals, series director Masahiro Sakurai has shown off a stage and its secret area, though he hasn't given its title. Here's his brief description of the arena, which you can see in the image above:
"Pic of the day. You can get up on the lights of this special ring. It's a perfect secret hiding place."

Not too much in the way of specifics today from Sakurai, but I wouldn't have guessed you could stand up there based on the picture. The lights look pretty high and an aesthetic addition only, but I suppose that's what Sakurai is here for!
The ring looks like a Punch-Out!!-inspired boxing arena, and new playable character Mac from the boxing series is present in the picture. Keep checking back for more Smash Bros. news ahead of E3, which will hopefully include an early specific release date announcement.
