Game sales are always a welcome sight for those looking for new titles to play, and this weekend won't be a disappointment in that regard.
Starting today, there's a big Steam sale on Activision titles that will run through the weekend until May 5. The publisher sale is a good chance to pick up any titles you've had your eye on for cheap, or at least at a discount. Older games come at very low prices, while you can generally get around 33 per cent off newer titles.
There are a multitude of Call of Duty games on sale, highlighted by 33 per cent off Call of Duty Ghosts, which is also hosting a free multiplayer weekend if you're unsure about buying the title. It's still $40.19, but that's expected on the newer end of the Call of Duty line.
The original Call of Duty is available for $14.99, and the same goes for CoD 2, CoD 4: Modern Warfare, CoD: World at War, and CoD: Modern Warfare 2. Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 are $29.99, while Black Ops II is the most expensive at $44.99.
The Prototype series is also discounted 33 per cent, and you can get 75 per cent off the Transformers titles (the first will only run you $4.99). The Cabela's hunting series has 75 per cent off discount across the board, and individual titles such as TimeShift, GUN, and Geometry Wars are also on sale. The games available at a discount are likely to change over the weekend, so keep checking back for a deal you want to take advantage of.
