A new trailer for upcoming JRPG "Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land" showcases more features, such as motorbike riding, base building, and many others.
The latest entry in the franchise will feature an open-world map as well as a bigger focus on exploration. Developer Koei Tecmo showcased other details about the game in the newest trailer that gives fans a glimpse of what they can expect when it fully launches.
New Atelier Yumia Trailer
One of the things that were shared in the trailer is that the ritual alchemist is seen exploring a vast and "seamless" open world. This means that players will have various ways of getting around, and it also gives them the ability to double jump, a motorbike that can be summoned via magic, and a gun.
Whenever players are exploring the massive world, they should always be wary of their energy reserves. This is an important resource that will help with both exploration and crafting. Out in the world, players are able to craft simple recipes with the use of energy, according to Nintendo Life.
Additionally, when you have energy, you will receive reduced fall damage whenever you jump from high cliffs. You also use energy whenever you enter "manabound areas," which are locations that you will find overrun with dense mana.
While inside these zones, your energy will slowly be drained, and you will have restricted movement. The good news is that you have many different ways to replenish your energy, including picking up Alstahlia Flowers and finding landmarks.
A Massive Open World
