A new update for "Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero" introduces a variety of adjustments, changes, and more that aim to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Bandai Namco just dropped the official patch notes for the game's latest version that also gives players access to 11 new fighters as well as a new mode and many balance changes. The latest DLC stars Gohan and Piccolo as was revealed with the Hero of Justice Pack trailer.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Patch

The characters are coming to "Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero" with their Beast and Orange transformations that give them monstrous levels of power. Additionally, the new characters include Gamma 1, Gamma 2, and Cell Max.

The patch also comes with a new Legendary Warrior Face-Off mode that features limited-time fights against significantly powerful foes. The latest update does not come with character-specific balance changes but introduces general adjustments.

Players will be able to see 10 different attack styles and general moves adjusted, as well as five skills that could significantly shake up the current meta. Those who do not have the Season Pass will still be able to access the new stuff in the latest update, according to Event Hubs.

However, they will have to wait until Jan. 23, 2025, before they can get their hands on the new DLC characters. Some game mode adjustments in the latest patch include a change to Episode Battle, which makes it possible to alter the difficulty even when using a Dragon Orb.

A Variety of Adjustments and Changes

Additionally, for Custom Battle, there are more situations, effects, and text that players can set. For Player Match, Bandai Namco changed Quick Match so that players no longer need to enter a room and will now be matched immediately against an opponent.

There is also a nerf to Perception as it will now require ki to be performed, which would make defense a little bit more difficult. Furthermore, the damage that players receive from an enemy that is using Wild Sense will now be decreased, Esports Illustrated said.

Some quality-of-life improvements are also included in the latest patch, including a new mechanic that is being added to show a character's moveset before players choose them. There are also increased wait times for Ranked mode for players who repeatedly disconnect in the middle of matches.

In terms of skill adjustments, Bandai Namco made some changes to Overall Automatic Avoidance Skills. It means that opponents will no longer be able to use these skills when performing a combo, according to Bandai Namco.
