Publisher Square Enix announced the next paid DLC for "PowerWash Simulator," and it features a collaboration with "Wallace & Gromit" that includes exciting content.

There is still no exact release date for the upcoming "Wallace & Gromit Special Pack," but a trailer was shared that showcases what fans can expect from it. The footage reveals some of the messy areas that players will have to clean themselves.

There were also glimpses of the West Wallaby Street kitchen, the interior of Wallace's rocket, the workshop, and Gromit's kennel in the front garden. Based on information on the expansion's Steam page, the game will get a tie-in powerwasher and avatar skin.

The newest collaboration is expected to launch sometime this year and makes "Wallace & Gromit" the latest franchise to have a crossover with "PowerWash Simulator." Other brands include "Shrek," "SpongeBob," "Final Fantasy," and "Back to the Future," according to Nintendo Life.

Developer FuturLab sneakily teased the upcoming "Wallet & Gromice Special Pack" in a social media post made earlier this month. At the time, people were praising the "Vengeance Most Fowl" movie that was made as a collaborative effort with animation house Aardman.

The studio is promising players that they will be able to go on a "cracking cleaning adventure," hoses in hand. They also teased that the content would include charming British suburbs and cheesy celestial bodies.

The upcoming pack will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch and if previous packs are any evidence, the "Wallace & Gromit Special Pack" will cost around $7.99, Eurogamer said.

Wallace & Gromit Collaboration

One of the reasons that "PowerWash Simulator" has had so many collaborations is that simulation games are typically popular. This is because they provide players with a unique way of playing that includes driving, taking goats, and other menial tasks that would otherwise be a hassle to do in real life.

The latest collaboration DLC will feature new maps based on the animated series' protagonist's house and other locations. These will also feature many different objects and references to the franchise as well.

On top of paid content, FuturLab consistently releases a slew of free updates that give players brand-new levels and items to work with. The most notable of these in recent times was last year's holiday pack.

"Wallace & Gromit" also has experience collaborating with video games as many of the franchise's characters have appeared in various titles. The most recent of these is that there is a "Pokemon" project in the works with the series' signature animation style that could be released in 2027, according to Game Rant.
