We'd like to start off by saying that you to all you readers who have showed a lot of interest in this series! We'll never get tired of shining the spotlight on the games available on Steam for you to play.

We're starting off 2025 by featuring a psychological horror game set in a dystopian 1990s society. And your character? Essentially a dude with no bright future ahead of him.

Here's what you have to know about "Yuppie Psycho."

Released on April 25, 2019, "Yuppie Psycho" is a 2D psychological horror puzzle game developed by Baroque Decay and published by Neon Doctrine.

The story of the game follows the main character, Brian Pasternack, as he begins working for a large corporation known as Sintracorp. Underqualified and unprepared, the future isn't looking so bright for him.

However, that can change depending on how he deals with his first assignment.

The First Assignment

His first assignment involves hunting down a "witch" who once helped Sintracorp but is now terrorizing the company. You'll have to balance this with everyday office tasks, such as knowing when to when to work, who your co-workers are, and what other secrets lurk in Sintracorp.

All this will naturally involve gathering clues, solving puzzles, and even investigating your co-workers.

Steam Reviews for 'Yuppie Psycho'

As of writing, "Yuppie Psycho" has more than 7,000 user reviews on Steam. According to the platform, these reviews have been generally categorized as "Overwhelmingly Positive."

"Loved this game, even though I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to limited saves and lots of enemies," user -alicia- said in a Steam review. "The art is so good (even the simpler pixel gameplay style is a good mix of utility for the creators, and visual interest for the players)."

"Got a little lost the first time I played the game and there were definitely moments where I needed to check a guide to figure out what to do, but the gameplay is genuinely fun, and the art is phenomenal," user TerribleSoda said in a separate review.
