There are two main strategies to taking down Undead Grius: either using the Protagonist as the main damage dealer or making use of Strohl's Tarukaja, which is learned at level four.

Fighting Undead Grius
The main thing you should keep in mind during the boss battle with Undead Grius is to make use of Hulkenerg's new Jump Thrust Synthesis skill. This will draw the boss' attention to her, giving your other characters a chance to dish out more damage.
The newly unlocked skill allows you to mix the powers of two party members' Archetypes for powerful attacks at the cost of an extra Turn Icon. The good thing about Jump Thrust is that it is a strong move that also lowers the target's Defense every time it hits, Screen Rant said.

Some other information that could be useful to know in fighting Undead Grius is that the boss deals around 50 to 70 damage with his powerful area-of-effect attack. He can also follow it up with a melee strike targeted at a character in your party.
It is recommended to keep your healing items and spells ready to top up any character who loses significant amounts of health. Be aware that when you reduce the boss to half HP, he will start using Mocking Phantasm, which is also a single-target attack.
The rewards for beating this boss in "Metaphor: ReFantazio" is 263 experience points, 158 Archetype experience points, 1,800 MAG, and 2,000 Money, according to Sportskeeda.
