The developers of "Ark: Survival Ascended" released the final two expansions for the game, but they ran into some issues as they are not yet available on some platforms.

The remaster gave new life to the original "Ark: Survival Evolved," which slowly introduced all of the original game's expansions over time. Even with this, the former still has higher player counts compared to the remaster.

This is primarily due to "Ark: Survival Ascended" not being as well received as the developers would have liked. Even with the relatively negative perspective, the remaster still continues to put out expansion after expansion.

The latest update to the game sees the addition of the final two expansions to the original, the Extinction and the Bob's Tall Tales: Wasteland War DLCs. The original plan was for both expansions to become available to all "Ark: Survival Ascended" owners right away.

However, while the update has dropped on Steam and PlayStation consoles without any problem, there was an issue with Microsoft's certification. This means that the expansions are not yet available on Xbox's PC and console platforms, according to PCGamesN.

The Ark X account posted on social media regarding the issue, saying that Xbox and Windows users will have to wait a bit to get the update. This time was to let the update itself clear certification.

The account added that the certification process is currently taking four times longer than the usual turnaround time. It noted that Microsoft is already investigating the issue, but there is no estimated time for when it could be resolved.

Certification Issues

The post also said that the developers were unable to hold back the release to bring them to all platforms at the same time because they wanted to make sure they could do more patches post-release.

The new Extinction map is considered to be the main new content in the DLC and focuses on a ruined Earth. Each corner of the map features a different biome, including the Sunken Forest, Snow, Desert, and Sulfur Fields, Screen Rant said.

On the other hand, Bob's Tall Tales: Wasteland War adds Buggys to the game, which is a new mode of transportation for players to use. Battle arenas are also being added that force players to fight among themselves against a dino.

This new feature makes PvP servers in the game a lot more fun as players have a chance to act as clans that can capture bases, according to India Today Gaming.
