You can find a lot of different weapons for your ship in No Man's Sky, and they all have their own strengths, weaknesses, and unique stats.

Some of these are arguably better than the rest, but there are some that are useful in specific scenarios. This guide lists down some of the best ship weapons in No Man's Sky and how you can get them for yourself.

Rocket Launcher

The Rocket Launcher in No Man's Sky has the ability to hit both close and long-range enemies, which makes it a very flexible weapon to use.

It has the longest attack range among ship weapons in the game at 5,000 units. This is more than three times the distance that an enemy pirate ship will be able to attack you. You can craft this ship weapon using 200 copper and 100 condensed carbon.

The main drawback of this weapon is that you can only fire it once before you are forced to wait for a cooldown. Another thing is that the Rocket Launcher cannot track targets like other weapons can and relies on the player anticipating their target's trajectory, according to The Gamer.

Phase Beam

The next ship weapon on this list is the Phase Beam, which has a range of 3,000 units and is a solid option for sustaining your ship in space battles. The main benefit of this weapon is that it drains the shield of an enemy ship and recharges your own.

The main drawback of the Phase Beam is that it does not have a lock-on feature, which requires you to be rather skillful when using it. Another thing is that this weapon overheats very quickly, which means you can't use it for prolonged fights. You can craft the Phase Beam using 100 Tritium and one Wiring Loom.

Grafted Eyes

This particular weapon is only usable on living ships, but it is a very good ship weapon due to its high damage potential and long range. It has a range of 3,000 units and works similarly to the Phase Beam with an overheat cooldown, Game Rant said.

The Grafted Eyes ship weapon can be created using two Hypnotic Eyes and 20 Viscous Fluids. This is a solid option for players who are looking for a ship weapon for long-range combat.

Infra-Knife Accelerator

Next is the Infra-Knife Accelerator, which requires you to practice using it in order to master its strengths. This ship weapon has a high fire rate and long cooldown and is considered a must-have in most combat scenarios.

You can craft your own Infra-Knife Accelerator by combining 200 Phosphorus and two Wiring Looms. The main drawback of this weapon is that it has the longest cooldown time of any ship weapon in No Man's Sky.

This means that it is best used in combination with other weapons to keep the pressure on enemy ships. Another thing about the Infra-Knife Accelerator is that it does not have a lock-on feature.

Positron Ejector

This particular ship weapon has a high rate of fire but is let down by its relatively short range and underperforming cooling system. The main benefit of using the Positron Ejector is that it can deal devastating damage to enemy ships that are relatively close to you, according to No Man's Sky Fandom.

Another drawback of this ship weapon is that its attacks have decreased effectiveness against targets with shields. The good news is that it is relatively easy to use and makes landing shots on enemy ships trivial. You can get this weapon by using 200 Uranium and two Wiring Looms.
