The first update for MachineGames' Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is finally out and introduces full tracing, various improvements, and more.

The new full ray tracing (path tracing) is a feature that is available for supported NVIDIA video cards. Players who want to take advantage of this newly added feature will need a minimum of 12G VRAM.

The developer also said that it was working to make the game support AMD FSR in a future game update. Some of the general fixes with the game's first update include addressing a rare crash that sometimes happens when a player is saving their progress.

Another issue that was fixed was where players could temporarily lose Pre-Order or Deluxe outfit entitlements. MachineGames also made it so that players' photographs will appear much faster when inspecting them from the journal.

As for the gameplay fixes, there was a broken animation that sometimes happens if players equip the rebreather immediately after jumping into water that was addressed, according to Bethesda.

There was also a situation where players may not be able to interact with various objects temporarily if they attempted to push an enemy using their revolver while their stamina was exhausted.

Regarding the UI in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the first update added a "Reset to Default" selection in the game's Options menu. The developer also fixed a situation where players who rapidly cycled the Quick Equip menu could get the wrong item being shown.

A Ton of Issue Fixes

MachineGames also ensures that players' Adventure Book lists are updated immediately after they unlock a new book. There is also now an explanation of the Blue Suitcase revisit icon on maps to the in-game manual, Comic Book said.

For graphics, the newest update fixes the issue where bottles appear overly blurred when players move around with an equipped bottle. The developer also fixed an issue where Indiana Jones' right arm looked like it was pinched above the wrist when wearing a bare-armed costume.

The update also features a variety of gameplay and quest fixes, such as your character's whip no longer suddenly detaching when swung. Indy will also no longer be stuck in what is called the "Lucky Hat" recovery state.

Another major problem that was fixed was an issue that prevented players from blocking punches while they were looking at a nearby pickup object. There were also some PC specific fixes added, such as improving performance on larger game levels if players were using an 8GB VRAM video card, according to DSO Gaming.
