Developer Dogubomb and publisher Raw Fury's mystery house puzzler Blue Prince finally got an official release window.

One of the game's core features is that it lets players design the layout of their house every time they wander through it. You can choose from several options of mismatched room types whenever you decide to open a door.

Every single room has its own secrets and you are tasked with trying to discover the mysterious 46th room. This particular room will not fit into the floor plan. The only constraint that you will face when playing is your character's fatigue levels.

This resource will confine your character to a certain number of steps on each in-game day. Fortunately, you can work around this somewhat by making use of various room properties and collectible objects.

Blue Prince is currently slated for a 2025 release window but the studios did not provide a more specific timeline of when it would be available. The official description of the game notes that you can reveal new and exciting changes behind each room, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.

Be wary, though, as the floorplan of the manor resets each day and the rooms within that you saw today will not be the same ones you see tomorrow. Players progress each day by the rooms you draft as well as the tools they house.

One thing to note is that when the manor's floor plan resets, all of the non-permanent upgrades to the estate blueprint will be lost. You are tasked with investigating a past that is woven with the threads of blackmail, political intrigue, and mysterious disappearances.

A Mysterious Manor

There was an early preview for Blue Prince that let some players go through the entirety of the puzzle title. Dogubomb's Tonda Ros' said in August 2024 that he had a complete build of Blue Prince done in three months, PCGamer said.

He added that this particular build of the game had everything, from start to finish. Ros estimated that it would take the team roughly six months to finish it up but the first half went so well that he wanted to go even further with Blue Prince.

As players progress through the game, they will slowly realize that there is more hidden under the surface than just a missing room in the manor. The description for Blue Prince warns that the deeper players delve, the more they realize that the past is closer than it seems, according to Gematsu.
