Fans have noticed that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 just got an ESRB rating which suggests that the latest fighting game anthology is coming out sometime soon.

The official website reveals that the games package got a T rating and mentions "Blood, Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol and Tobacco, Violence." It also noted that the title has user interactions.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 Rating

An official description for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 reads that it features eight Capcom fighting games from various franchises. The majority of the titles included let players engage in one-on-one matches against a massive pool of enemies.

It adds that the characters in the games primarily punch and kick each other while trying to take out each other's health bars. The matches showcase multiple hits, impact sounds, and cries of pain.

The description said that there are some titles in the package that allow players to temporarily use various weapons. These include swords and bazookas. The blade attacks usually result in large splashes of blood, according to Gameranx.

There are also some female characters who are seen wearing low-cut outfits, pasties, and/or thongs while others were designed with jiggling breasts. The titles also include occasional depictions of controlled substances.

The description for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is considered to be relatively old-fashioned by today's standards. This is particularly true as a lot of people are waiting for the inevitable release of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) VI.

Some of the Best Fighting Games

The games package was originally announced by Capcom in August 2024 and features some of the best fighting games in history. The latest ESRB rating suggests that fans will finally be able to get their hands on the game soon, Push Square said.

Typically, getting a rating means that a game is about six months from release, which means that Capcom Fighting Collection 2 could come out sometime in the first half of 2025. It includes Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Power of Stone, among others.

The rating comes as another game collection, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is getting a physical release for Xbox One consoles next year. It is currently available for purchase for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation users.

All of the physical copies of the collection will come with a 32-page comic that features some of the fans' favorite characters and superheroes. The collection was originally announced in June 2024 and was headlined by Marvel vs. Capcom 2, according to GadgetMatch.
