It will make the previously released Neo-Volkite Pistol become available to use in PvP. It also brings the highly anticipated Dark Angels Chapter Pack. There is also a new Operation, known as Obelisk.
Players should note that the Dark Angels Chapter Pack includes the Dark Angels Champion. This is a unique armor set and banner that is usable by the Bulwark Class. This is a menacing-looking armor set that lets you take on challenging foes.
It was also confirmed in a forum post that there will be three weapons being added to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. These items are the Auto Bolt Rifle, Plasma Pistol, and Power Sword, according to IGN.

Developer Saber Interactive also adds new armor pieces to the game in the latest update, including the Mark VIII Ravenwing helmet. These will all be unlockable as part of a heraldry cosmetic.
Patch 5 will also introduce color lenses to the customization menu, which is something that fans have been asking for since the game came out in September 2024. Players will soon be able to choose from 15 different colors.
A Ton of New Content
The PlayStation 5 Pro support that will be added will have Saber Interactive making use of the console's PSSR to boost resolution across both of the game's graphics modes. The Quality mode will increase from 1440p to 2160p. The Performance mode on the other hand will have a range of 1080p to 1440p, Push Square said.
Saber Interactive also plans to release patch notes for the upcoming update sometime in the near future. This would give fans a detailed list of what Patch 5 will bring to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
The game's Season 3 is also expected to come out early next year but has no official release date yet. But comparing it to the timeframe between the first two seasons, fans are expecting the latest season to come as early as mid to late January 2025.
It is expected to bring a lot more new content to the game compared to Seasons 1 and 2 combined. Saber Interactive's roadmap noted that Season 3 is the largest DLC of the four planned Seasons that were announced before, according to Screen Rant.
