A new mod for Fallout 4 added a ton of features that were taken from Fallout: New Vegas to make the gaming experience even better.
The combination of the two titles comes as every single Fallout game is fundamentally different from the rest in the franchise. They each take advantage of a variety of ideas and mechanics to provide unique gaming experiences.
New Fallout 4 Mod
One example is Fallout 3, which focused more on exploration and gave players a lot of things to do the moment they stepped out of Vault 101. On the other hand, Fallout: New Vegas featured difficult decisions that players had to make at various intervals.
But mods are something that the community as a whole has taken advantage of to bring Fallout games together. A new mod for Fallout 4, known as Reputation, brings the Fallout: New Vegas system to the post-apocalyptic world.
The new mod changes how different groups such as The Railroad, Institute, and others, react to the player. This will primarily depend on your actions that affect them. This means that the RPG just got a lot more reactive, according to PCGamesN.

Players' actions with various groups of people in Fallout 4 will not have consequences because of the new mod. One example is if you assist the people of Diamond City, they will inherently like you more.
On the other hand, if you tell the Institute to scram and take action that results in impeding their plans, they will begin to be antagonistic towards you. If the player's reputation becomes too negative with a certain faction, they might even send out squads to take you out.
Adding a Reputation System
The new mod was created by bp42s and was first made available to the public through Nexus Mods on Nov. 16, 2024. The modder worked on this particular project for roughly a year. He originally shared a short demo of it in December 2023, Game Rant said.
The demo displayed just two of Fallout 4's various factions and showcased a new reputation screen that was added to the Pip-Boy. The hit squads that factions send out operate on a cooldown timer. If you want them to stop, you have to make peace with that particular faction or eliminate them entirely.
The mod also includes dynamic pricing that changes based on how you are perceived and there are also Idolized Perks that give you significant buffs. There are also some militaristic factions that can salute you if your reputation with them is positive enough, according to Screen Rant.
