There are a lot of powerful weapons available in Final Fantasy XVI. But the Omega Weapon in the Echoes of the Fallen DLC is arguably the strongest.
The Omega Weapon was added with the game's first DLC alongside many other noteworthy blades. This guide teaches players how they can get their hands on this almighty weapon which is needed to unlock the "My Reward Is with Me" trophy.
Materials for the Omega Weapon
For players to be able to craft the Omega Weapon, they will first need four materials. These are the Fallen Enforcer, Omega Nodule, Living Tissue, and Aqueous Humours. You should note that none of these items are missable so you will always be able to get this weapon no matter what you do.
The Fallen Enforcer is acquired by defeating the Sigma mini-boss while the Omega Nodule can be obtained after you beat the Echoes of the Fallen DLC's final boss, Omega Aionios. The remaining materials, Living Tissue and Aqueous Humors can be acquired by beating the Sigma and Angra Mainyu mini-bosses, respectively, according to Sports Illustrated.
Crafting the Omega Weapon
You will automatically be brought back to the hideaway after beating the final boss in the DLC. You are now able to craft the Omega Weapon using the materials that you acquired.
To do this, go to the Black Hammer, choose Omega Weapon from the "Craft" menu, and then hold the button that is prompted by the game.

Omega Weapon Reforged
If you are trying to craft the Omega Weapon in New Game Plus, you will see that you are now able to make the Omega Weapon Reforged. This is a stronger version that also requires some new materials.
The materials that you need for this upgraded weapon are Fallen Enforcer Reforged, Flawless Nodule, Flawless Tissue, and Flawless Humours. These materials are acquired through the same methods as their base counterparts, Game Rant said.
How Strong is the Omega Weapon
The Omega Weapon boasts the highest stats of any blade in Final Fantasy XVI with 410 power. It also has the stagger ability and is far superior to the Gotterdammerung's stats by a significant amount.
Using this powerful weapon will make your battle with Ultima much easier as you can deal more damage to finish the fight in a shorter time. You can also take the Omega Weapon into Final Fantasy mode as it is stronger than all of the early-game swords, according to Dual Shockers.
