Square Enix shared new details about Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. These include new information such as character classes, supporting characters, and post-game content.

The game is a remake of the original with the same name and was released with 2D visuals. The remake changes this to make it a 3D title to bring it up to modern standards. The upcoming Square Enix game will also include other adjustments, such as to its combat and others.

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

One thing that players will also be able to customize is the difficulty of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. The release date for Square Enix's latest title is Oct. 24, 2024, for all players worldwide.

A global release means that there will be no difference in unlock times for players in different regions. There is no Deluxe Edition available for Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. This means that there are no early access perks that will be given out, according to Game Rant.

Romancing SaGa: Revenge of the Seven will be available on PlayStation, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. Owners of the first two consoles can buy either a digital or physical copy of the game. Square Enix will also release it for PC.

On the other hand, PC gamers can simply enjoy the upcoming Square Enix title on Steam. Unfortunately, the game will not be coming to Xbox consoles and there have been no details of any plans for this in the future.

New Information

The latest information drop by Square Enix showcased two characters, Wallenstein and Minerva, who are both Imperial Guards. The two report directly to the Emperor of Varennes and are among the region's strongest individuals, Gematsu said.

The studio also revealed details about some of the major supporting characters that players will encounter in Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven. One of these is Victor, the crown prince of the Varennes Empire.

Victory is very sympathetic to his younger brother Gerard. He fights the hero during Kzinssie's attack on the capital despite unleashing his signature technique Flowing Slash. In that fight, he loses his own life.

Another major supporting character is Orieve, who is a seeress who visits the capital. She travels to the region in order to give a warning to Emperor Leon regarding the Seven Heroes. She also passes on the secrets of inheritance magic that allows the Empire to fight on somewhat even grounds, according to RPGamer.
