God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla has a lot of tough baddies that you need to beat. This means that having the best weapons is sometimes crucial to overcoming various challenges.

The Blade of Olympus is considered one of, if not the most powerful weapons that exist in the game. A testament to this weapon's strength is that it was even used by Zeus.

The king of the Gods used it to banish the Titans to Tartarus during the Great War. It has not been usable in the franchise since God of War: Ghost of Sparta was released in 2010.

It is now making a return in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla and is still the nearly broken weapon that fans of the series know and love. In this guide, we'll help players learn how they can get this powerful piece of equipment to fight their enemies with.

The Blade of Olympus

Players can get the Blade of Olympus in God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla by playing through the "Homecoming" objective in the lower Realms of Valhalla. You will then pick up Helios, put him in a cage, and start pushing him towards an incinerator, according to Eurogamer.

You can get the weapon during a fight in the story sequence with Helios where the game prompts you to press some buttons. Not long after, Kratos and Mimir will be kicked out of Valhalla once more.

In order to re-equip the Blade of Olympus, you have to visit the Spartan Rage selector and choose "Legacy" as your special ability. What this does is it makes the weapon available only after you have built up enough rage with Legacy equipped, Game Pressure said.

Using the Weapon

When you select Legacy mode, you can restore rage by parrying incoming attacks with the L1 button and killing enemies. This also allows players to recover a small portion of their health for additional sustain during fights.

Taking advantage of these will make it easier for players to keep using the Black of Olympus for extended periods during a run. The weapon is a powerful piece of equipment that can delete groups of enemies in a quick fashion.

Another thing to note is that the health and rage recovery options when using the Blade of Olympus make it the players' best option for the various trials in Valhalla. Furthermore, you have the option of turning it off if you feel like you do not need its power anymore and want to use other weapons in your arsenal, according to Game Rant.
