Bloober Team, the studio that worked on the Silent Hill 2 remake, has announced that it has a new survival horror game in the works.
The game, called Cronos: The New Dawn, is scheduled for release in 2025. The announcement was made during the Xbox Partner Preview event held Thursday.
What is Known About the Game
Cronos: The New Dawn will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows upon its release next year. The game is set in two places. One of which is 1980s Communist Poland, while the other is a wasteland created by an event known as The Change.
According to Xbox Wire, the game will also be set across two time periods. It will also feature elements of science fiction.
"Our commitment to redefining the horror genre continues with this survival horror title, which represents a natural progression of our creative vision and our studio's strategy," Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said.
"By merging the eerie atmosphere of horror with the boundless potential of science fiction, Cronos promises to deliver a fresh survival experience," Babieno added.
