A new controller for Xbox consoles and PC, the HEART controller, aims to completely remove a very annoying and major issue, stick drift.
The new Xbox-licensed gamepad takes advantage of Hall effect technology to achieve this feat. Explaining it simply, a Hall effect sensor is a device that can detect magnetic fields. This lets it be used to create extremely longevous analog sticks whose central components are not in direct contact.
