Fans of The Lion King have a lot to look forward to when playing Disney Dreamlight Valley. It has been announced that both Timon and Pumbaa are set to make their in-game debut very soon.
To be exact, the fun-loving duo will debut on October 9, which is just a handful of days away. Their debut is part of the game's Jungle Getaway update, which also introduces some changes, particularly to the Lion King Realm.
Timon, Pumbaa Joins 'Disney Dreamlight Valley'

According to a report, upon their debut, players can encounter Timon and Pumbaa in the Lion King Realm. Once the player completes the adventure, both characters will be available in the main world.
The Lion King Realm can now be explored during the daytime thanks to the update. Previously, players can only explore the area at night.
Timon and Pumbaa join the other The Lion King characters who have been previously added to the game. Simba and Nala, in particular, made their debut last April.

Other Details About the 'Jungle Getaway' Update
The Jungle Getaway update also introduces The Night Show Star Path, which is heavily inspired by rock concerts. Players can expect new unloackable items and furniture as part of the Star Path.

A simulation adventure game, Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on December 5, 2023. The game is developed and published by Gameloft.
The goal of the player is to help take care of a magical valley where numerous Disney and Pixar characters can be found. These characters were cursed, which led them to lose their memories of their lives in the valley.
