Coral Island is a cozy life sim game that features a beautiful world and tons of stuff to do. The game has a lot of content that can keep players working hard.

One of the most important things to remember is making sure that your tools are always at their best. These are your best friends when trying to do a variety of actions and activities in Coral Island.

As you progress through the game, new tasks will require stronger tools, and the ones you got at the beginning of the game are quickly made irrelevant. This means you need to find sufficient materials to upgrade and enchant your tools to make them stronger.

This beginner's guide helps newcomers know how to upgrade and enchant their tools as well as where to get the items they need. Keep these things in mind so that you can go straight to progressing through the game as soon as you can.

How To Upgrade

Players have a lot of options on where to go in order to have their tools upgraded as it depends on the tool in question. Furthermore, each tool will require a different set of materials as well as coins for each upgrade, according to The Gamer.

The first batch is the axe, hoe, pickaxe, scythe, and the watering can. These particular tools can be brought to Sanchez Blacksmith to be upgraded. The store is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, it is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Each tool needs different materials but they generally need Bronze Bars and Wood for the first Bronze upgrade. For the second Silver upgrade, you need Silver Bars and more Wood. For the third Gold upgrade, you have to have Gold Bars and some Hardwood.

For the last Osmium upgrade, you need to get some Osmium Bars, Hardwood, and a hefty amount of coins. The Gold Watering Can in particular also needs some Resin so be sure to get some when you can.

The Bug Net and Fishing Pole can be upgraded at the Beach Shack which is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. However, it is not open on Tuesdays so be sure to time your upgrades.

Throughout the different upgrades for these two tools, you would need Bronze Kelp Essence, Wood, Silver Kelp Essence, Gold Kelp Essence, Hardwood, and Osmium Kelp Essence.

How To Enchant

Enchanting tools is a little different compared to simply upgrading them to make them stronger. In order to perform this process, you need to travel to the Giant Village and interact with the Enchantment Shrine, Game Rant said.

You then select the tool you want to enchant and place offerings in the shrine. These can be gems, fossils, or artifacts. Then, click "Enchant Tool," which is a random process. Players can get one of seven available buffs.

These include allowing tools to break debris in one hit, preventing tools from draining Energy and getting more drops. You can also level up an Enchantment to make it stronger but this process is somewhat expensive with every new level.

One thing to note is that each tool in Coral Island can have up to three Enchantments. How many you can put into one tool depends on its quality. Basic and Bronze tools can have only one, Silver and Gold tools can have up to two, and Osmium tools can have up to three.

Getting Some Resources

If you plan to upgrade and enchant your tools in Coral Island, you will need a variety of resources and materials. One of the ways to get some of these is by breaking boxes in the Cavern.

This area is filled with a lot of precious items that you can gather, such as Coal, Pres, and Gems. Some of the boxes that you break can contain resources such as Wood, which can be used to upgrade your tools. There is also a chance to find a rare item, such as Monster Essence, according to IGN.
