Amazon Games and NCSoft shared some new information about Throne and Liberty ahead of the game's early access release.
The MMORPG was originally set to come out on Sept. 17, 2024, following a July beta. However, the studios decided to delay it to Oct. 1, 2024, so they can add more features from the Korean version of the game.
Throne and Liberty Update
The additional time also allowed Amazon Games and NCSoft to set up an email Q&A that focused on the global launch of Throne and Liberty. It also included information on what players can expect to see from the upcoming title.
The game is set to arrive on PC and current-gen consoles. PC players can use DLSS 3 technology to boost their framerates. Throne and Liberty will reportedly be available on GeForce NOW. This would let you play via the cloud, according to WCCFTech.
Amazon Games said that it worked closely with NCSoft to incorporate player feedback from various testing rounds. It added that they released a comprehensive article that details the major variations in the Launch version.

The studio noted that it plans to share a detailed roadmap of when Korean content and balance patches to the Western version. Amazon Games said its goal is to share its content plans with the community throughout the life of the game.
It added that there have been extensive revisions that reshaped Throne and Liberty considerably since it was first launched in Korea last December. Amazon Games told players that it made changes to the leveling experience for pacing, said MassivelyOP.
The studio also added better early-game tutorials to guide players and improved quest types throughout the game. Other changes include smoothed-out gear progression and balanced PvP combat.
A Lot of Changes
Amazon Games noted that combat and build diversity have been some of their major focus points. The studio plans to release a team update ahead of the early access release to give players a first look at the content that Throne and Liberty will bring.
When the game launches in full, it will add a new 3v3 Arena PvP as well as more PvE content for players who prefer it. The latter will be done through co-op dungeons, The Gate of Infinity, and Amitoi Expeditions.
The latter is where players' Amitoi pets can bring back very useful items. The PvE part of the features will also have co-op dynamic events, cooking and fishing systems, and a series of weekly missions, according to MMORPG.
