Black Myth: Wukong is already one of the most popular games of the year and features a ton of fun features and mechanics.

It has more than 90 bosses for players to go through, making it an extremely challenging task to finish the campaign. As you progress through Black Myth: Wukong, the stronger enemies get, and the more powerful equipment you need to survive.

Fortunately, developer Game Science put a ton of useful and powerful armor sets that players can unlock. A lot of these equipment can be upgraded, making them even stronger to fare well against late-game foes.

In this article, we list some of the best armor sets that can be acquired in Black Myth: Wukong and detail what they do and how to get them. Getting any of these equipment as soon as you can will help you run through the campaign of the game.

Folk Opera Set

The Folk Opera Set is a very strong choice for an armor set, especially during the early stages of the game. While it might not be the best when it comes to the latter parts of Black Myth: Wukong, it has a useful passive that lets you farm extra Will, according to GameRant.

This particular armor set has four pieces; Folk Opera Mask, Folk Opera Almsgiving Armor, Folk Opera Leather Bracers, and Folk Opera Buskins. Every single piece will increase the amount of Will players get for defeating an enemy.

You need to buy the Deluxe Edition to get this armor set and there is no other way to acquire it.

Iron Set

Next up is the Iron Set, which is associated with the game's Rock Solid Spell, and has four pieces of equipment. The spell is what Black Myth: Wukong uses as a form of Parry but it cannot be used in quick succession.

This is the benefit of using this particular armor set as it allows players who have two pieces of the Iron Set equipment to increase the amount of Focus they gain for deflecting an attack. And if all four pieces are worn, successful deflections will significantly reduce the cooldown of the spells.

These pieces can be crafted using Will and a variety of materials, such as Cold Iron Leaves, Fine Gold Thread, and Duskveil's Horn just for the helmet.

Loongscale Set

This armor set has an Epic rarity and gives the unique effect that allows Vengeful Mirage to inflict Thunder Bane. This particular status effect makes the enemy take more damage from outside sources, said KeenGamer.

The chest piece also boosts the Vengeful Mirage martial arts skill that creates an explosive illusion if you perform a perfect dodge. This armor set can be crafted after you have beaten the Kang-Jin Star boss at Bitter Lake in the third chapter. The pieces use up Will, Silk, and Cold Iron Leaves.

Gold Suozi Set

Arguably the best armor set in the entirety of Black Myth: Wukong is the Gold Suozi set that can only be acquired in the final chapter. You will have to face and beat a series of bosses that each grant you a piece of equipment when defeated.

This powerful armor set gives a boost to your critical chance for wearing two pieces and gives spell cooldown reduction when four pieces are worn. Other armor sets need to be upgraded just to be on par with the Gold Suozi set, according to TheGamer.
