Blizzard recently shared an official solo guide that highlights new Delves and gives out some recommendations for players who want to play the highly popular MMORPG on their own.

In the early stages of World of Warcraft, solo players generally have a slower time as they go through all of the tutorials. After you get to level 10 in Exile's Reach and complete your first dungeon, you will be able to step into the Dragonflight expansion and play solo.

The dungeons you can find here as well as in The War Within will have what is known as a "Follower Dungeon" feature. This would fill the dungeon itself with four NPCs. There is also something called "Dungeon Assistance" that gives you the ability to let the NPCs set the pace.

The game's latest expansion shows that Blizzard is trying to go a step further than these. The company is seemingly leaning into a few more pieces of solo content. In the main story, players can take on certain raids in a new "Story Mode," according to MMORPG.

This will bring you in with nine automated NPCs to allow you to simply enjoy the battle and story without feeling the anxiety of playing with other people. The studio also introduces Delves, which are mini-dungeons that replace some of the more traditional grinding for rare items.

These are challenges that can be done either solo or in small pre-made groups. Players can take roughly 10 to 15 minutes trying to complete these and they feature several different encounter types but reward you with experience and gear up to Heroic levels.

Blizzard's official solo guide for World of Warcraft also lays out a leveling path for newcomers and gives some recommendations. It teaches players how to take advantage of commands to disable chat channels or block unwanted interactions with other players, said MassivelyOP.

Various New Features

In its post, the studio said that players can now take their adventures in The War Within to a new level with the brand-new Delves. These challenges can be replayed and they are seasonal experiences.

The company noted that players should spend their time leveling from 10 to 70 in Dragonflight and then going to The War Within for levels 70 to 80. Another feature that was highlighted is tracking quests and objectives.

Players can easily track quests and objectives by opening their map to get a quick snapshot of the quests that they have taken.

Here you will see a list of quests and the type of quest for each is within the interface. Clicking on the Map Legend gives more information to various map indicators, according to Blizzard News.
