The game is one of many titles that are making their way onto the Nintendo Switch and THQ Nordic previously urged fans to "stay tuned" if they missed out on the demo at this year's major gaming event.

During the previous demo of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed that was available at Gamescom 2024, the game showed more than what fans were expecting to see. The game seems to have been handled with much care as a remake of a bona fide classic, according to NintendoLife.

The official release date of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is Sept. 24, 2024, and it will be arriving on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The publisher also outlined the key features that fans can expect to see in Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. These include experiencing the magic of Disney being brought to life in a vibrant 3D platformer.

The game is said to be a faithful remake that sends Mickey Mouse on an epic adventure through Wasteland. This is a realm that is filled with forgotten Disney characters. Players will take control of Mickey as they dive into the game's fantastical world, said NintendoInsider.

In Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, players will wield the Magic Brush to help Wasteland by using paint to restore beauty and harmony or using thinner to alter the environment and discover hidden secrets.

Furthermore, players' choices will influence Mickey's destiny and change the outcome of the artistic adventure. The game features classic characters, such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Yen Sid, Pete, and many others.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed features new skills, including dash, ground pound, and sprinting that players can take advantage of. The game also has a compelling story that makes it an unforgettable experience even for long-time fans.

Ahead of the official release of Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, GameStop has a pre-order bundle for the game that costs $95. The bundle comes with a special-edition wireless controller as well as a physical copy of the game, according to GameSpot.
