Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth has a ton of quests that players can complete for a variety of rewards as well as to progress the story and stealing the Pristine Crown from the Tonberry King is one of the side quests available in the game.
This particular quest can be undertaken not long after players arrive in Costa del Sol, reunite with Johnny, and learn about his efforts to start his own "seaside" hotel in the sunny resort town. The Saga of Seaside Inn primarily tasks you with helping Johnny transform his ramshackle inn into a legitimate place of lodging.
How To Steal the Pristine Crown
One of the final tasks that you need to do in order to complete this sidequest is to steal and deliver the Tonberry King's Pristine Crown to Johnny. Longtime fans of the Final Fantasy franchise know that the weird-looking Tonberries are some of the deadliest creatures in the game, according to IGN.
The first thing you should know is how to actually get to the Tonberry King in order to try and steal his Pristine Crown. He is the Corel Region's Classified Intel, which essentially makes him the local regional boss.
You will have to scan all six of the region's Lifesprings in order to unlock the location where the Tonberry King is located. After this, you can finally start to try and steal the Tonberry King's Pristine Crown.

When you encounter the Tonberry King, he will consistently throw adds at you and you need to take them down quickly. After you pressure him enough, his Pristine Crown will fly off and he will slowly make his way in an effort to retrieve it, said HardcoreGamer.
This is the opportunity that you need to take advantage of in order to progress with the sidequest as if you let the Tonberry King get his Pristine Crown back, you will only get a Marred Crown, which will disappoint Johnny.
Pressuring the Tonberry King
In order to get the Pristine Crown, you will have to make sure that you have at least one AT bar and target the crown when it falls off. You then simply use Steal or Mug on the crown itself to snatch it away from the Tonberry King.
Another way you can steal the Pristine Crown is by equipping one or two members of your party with the Steal Materia. The ideal characters for this are Yuffie and Tifa and you can improve your odds by boosting the characters' Luck stat with Luck Up Materia or accessories such as Luck Up Materia Earrings.
When you finally get the Pristine Crown, you simply have to deliver it to Johnny in order to complete this particular portion of The Saga of Seaside Inn sidequest, according to GamePressure.
