Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion added a ton of new weapons to the game that players can use in vanquishing their foes and the Anvil Hammer colossal weapon is one of the strongest of these.

This particular weapon is capable of dealing devastating damage while also breaking its stance relatively easily. This makes it one of the best choices for those who have Strength builds who want some more power.

This guide focuses on helping Elden Ring players get this mighty weapon so they can use it in their journey throughout the expansion. The first thing to know about the Anvil Hammer is that it has a weight of 22.0 and can only be wielded if you have the following stats:

  • STR - 39

  • DEX - 10

  • INT - 11

  • FAI - 20

The Anvil Hammer also comes with Ash of War: Smithing Art Spears that cause your character to slam the weapon down to create spears that come out of the ground. This deals a lot of damage to nearby foes that can quickly take down lesser monsters, according to Kotaku.

Where To Find the Anvil Hammer

The next thing you need to know is where to actually find this particular weapon, which is the Ruined Forge Lava Intake dungeon. This is located on the eastern side of Gravesite Plain which you can reach by heading southeast from the Castle Front Site of Grace and following the lower cliffs.

After you get inside, you will find relatively linear pathways that will take you to a ladder downward and to a lever. Using this lever will result in the lowering of a massive column that you can jump to in order to get further into the dungeon.

When you see a set of stars, quickly jump to your right, and at the top of these is a forge that you can examine, which will give you the Anvil Hammer, said Inverse.

Other Things To Know

When you get the Anvil Hammer colossal weapon, you should know that it scales at least marginally with most of the basic stats but is best used in strength builds. The reason for this is the weapon's steep strength requirement.

The Anvil Hammer also has a relatively good scaling and at level 1 it has C, E, E, and D for STR, DEX, INT, and FAI, respectively. But at level 10, it will have B, E, E, and D, for STR, DEX, INT, and FAI, respectively, according to ScreenRant.
