New Job Listing Suggests
To date, the only CD Projekt Red game to have arrived on a Nintendo console is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the Switch. Sure, Cyberpunk 2077 is playable on the Switch via cloud streaming, but it doesn't come with native integration to the console. As the Switch is seven years old at this point, it simply doesn't have the hardware for Cyberpunk 2077 and other demanding titles.
Future Titles and New Hardware
Nintendo has confirmed a successor to the Switch, which itself is planned to be announced during this fiscal year. With new hardware coming, speculation arises that future CD Projekt Red games might release on this upcoming Nintendo console.
Game Rant picked up on the job listing for a Senior Compliance QA Analyst that lists the Nintendo consoles as among the platforms for which the candidate will need to develop compliance guidelines so that games meet certification standards on a collection of platforms that include Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Apple.
Given how successful CD Projekt Red was in bringing The Witcher 3 to the Switch, there is a possibility that the studio may collaborate with Nintendo again. CD Projekt Red is working on other projects, like the remake of the original The Witcher, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, another Witcher game, and a totally new IP called Project Hadar.
