The Faces Behind Rook and Companions
There will be four actors to voice the protagonist, Rook: Alex Jordan from Cyberpunk 2077, Bryony Corrigan from Baldur's Gate 3, Erika Ishii from Apex Legends, and Jeff Berg from Battlefield 1-all bringing their different abilities into the project and proposing to have multiple voices for an in-game protagonist.
Other principal characters are voiced by Ali Hillis as Harding, Ike Amadi as Davrin, Jee Young Han as Bellara, Jessica Clark as Neve, Jin Maley as Taash, Nick Boraine as Emmrich, Matthew Mercer as Manfred, and Zach Mendez as Lucanis.
Returning Favorites and Future Reveals
Fans will be pleased to know Gareth David-Lloyd will reprise his role as Solas, and Brian Bloom will return as Varric. The continuity from Dragon Age: Inquisition brings depth of character into the new game.
BioWare posted recently to say that they too would be attending the SDCC, hosting a panel with some of these voice actors in attendance. Dubbed, "Dragon Age - Meet The Heroic Companions of Thedas," this panel will take place on July 26 and include Q&A's about the character development process.
On top of this, BioWare has confirmed that more reveals and returning characters are coming in the future, though they're saving some details to avoid spoilers. Fans going to SDCC can swing by the Dark Horse Comics booth for exclusive Dragon Age: The Veilguard swag and signings.
