Cat lovers and Kirara fans, this is a call for you: Genshin Impact is offering a free Kirara skin in celebration of the "Summertide Scales and Tales" event. An exclusive outfit dubbed "Phantom in Boots" gives the 4-star Dendro character a refreshing makeover for the summer event.
This guide will show you how to get Kirara's outfit on Simulanka Island in Genshin Impact. To achieve this, one needs to collect Excerpts of Bliss. Below are the steps showing how you can do it and take this special skin home to get more fun out of Genshin Impact.

Gather Excerpts of Bliss
Kirara is a 4-star Dendro character and a courier working with Komaniya Express. You can get her new outfit, Phantom in Boots, by collecting Excerpts of Bliss. Getting the outfit will require you to have 125 Excerpts of Bliss. Practically all exploration on Simulanka Island rewards these Excerpts.
There are three major locations on Simulanka Island from where you will collect Excerpts of Bliss:
- Forest of Blessings
- Constellation Metropole
- The Third Area
There are chests in each area that include Excerpts of Bliss. You can unlock these chests by helping out villagers or solving mini-puzzles. Another way to farm more Excerpts of Bliss is through Jubilant Feathers out in the wild. They're marked on the mini-map and reward three Excerpts apiece. They can be found in all three main areas.
Other Ways to Get Kirara's Outfit
If you can't farm enough Excerpts of Bliss within the event's timeframe, don't worry. There's another way. Once the event actually ends, Kirara's Phantom in Boots outfit will be available for purchase in the in-game store for 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
Even players who do not have Kirara are able to get her for free if they can manufacture 60 figurines during the event. Of course, another layer of excitement comes from the fact that you can not only receive the character but also her really unique summer outfit.
