How to Customize Your Look in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn

Character customization in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is quite elaborate. In this action-adventure, players will be given freedom to personalize a great deal of Nor's appearance and equipment. One can choose from axes, pistols, and rifles-each with its advantages and affecting gameplay differently.

Changing Appearance

Nor's appearance is changed through the selection of armor and outfits. The axe and pistol option changes her appearance, while rifles are only visible when used. In this inventory menu of the game, the armor options will be in the top-left slots while outfits are in the top-right slots around the backpack.

Players will have to move around in the world and hunt for chests to see where new armor lies. Outfits are acquired through the coffee shops, the central hub in each hamlet. These clothes all come in coat-and-trouser combinations and require Reputation points to buy. The price depends on how rare they are.

The Role of Uniforms

Uniforms in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn do not grant any gameplay benefit and are purely aesthetic. They cost Reputation and come in various rarities, which raises their price accordingly. They don't grant any in-game bonus but can be used to flex their creativity a bit. Higher-rarity uniforms have much more elaborate designs but are not meant to interact with gameplay like armor does.

Understanding Armor Synergy Bonuses

Unlike uniforms, armor sets in Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn convey specific benefits to the player. Individual armor pieces include particular bonuses, while a full set confers extra Armor Synergy Bonuses.

Only two of any three-set armor needs to be worn to gain synergistic bonuses; hence, there is leeway towards flexibility in build customization. This means that any set can be mixed and matched for pieces to better suit a player's chosen play style.
