Sakurajima Island, known for its breathtaking Sakura gardens, is now home to a new challenge in Palworld. Among the various creatures inhabiting these gardens, Paldeck #121 features Yakumo, a dog-like Pal. Despite being categorized as a Neutral-type Pal, Yakumo poses a formidable challenge when encountered.

Finding Yakumo in Sakurajima
Yakumo's location in Palworld is exclusive to the recently introduced Sakurajima island. Specifically, you can encounter this Pal in the serene surroundings of the Dancing Sakura Shrine area.
Utilize the Moonflower Tower Entrance Fast Travel point for immediate access to Yakumo's spawning grounds. Alternatively, from the Secluded Cemetery Fast Travel point, head southeast to reach the designated area marked on your map.
Capturing Yakumo in Sakurajima Update
To capture Yakumo, employ standard Pal-catching tactics. Engage Yakumo in combat and reduce its health carefully without defeating it outright. Given Yakumo's susceptibility to Dark-types, bring along a robust combat Pal of this type such as Necromus or Shadowbeak. Once Yakumo's health is sufficiently low, employ a Pal Sphere to secure a successful capture.
Yakumo can also be hatched from a Common Egg using an Egg Incubator, although this method requires patience as hatching Yakumo isn't guaranteed.
Yakumo's Attributes and Suitability
Yakumo belongs to the Neutral type category, rendering it vulnerable to Dark-type Pals while lacking distinct advantages against other types. Despite its modest combat capabilities, Yakumo excels in Gathering work, making it a valuable addition to your base operations. With base statistics including 85 HP, 85 Attack, and 85 Defense, Yakumo proves more adept at non-combat roles and adds aesthetic appeal to any Palworld base.
